Abstract submission

1-06-2019 IS THE DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

The website address for submitting abstracts – a direct link or also at the bottom of the page under the instructions

DEAR PARTICIPANTS OF THE 53rd PSHC SYMPOSIUM,

please read the instructions for preparing abstracts and how to submit them to our system.

PREPARATION OF THE ABSTRACT:

  • prepare an abstract in a text editor (word etc.); you can use the example abstract on the website
  • title, in English: can not exceed 250 characters (including spaces), special characters and symbols are accepted
  • authors with affiliation numbering, authors separated by a comma, if the author has more than one affiliation, then the affiliation numbers should be separated by a comma
  • author presenting (without affiliation)
  • list of affiliations in English; number preceding affiliation, name of the city after the comma, affiliations separated by a semicolon
  • abstract: limit of 2300 characters, 
    special characters and symbols are accepted. without tables and graphics. It should contain the sections: Introduction, Material and methods, Results, Conclusions, Funding.
  • determine if the application will be presented in the form of a poster or an oral presentation
  • set a target session (poster sessions will be a reflection of oral sessions)

AFTER CLICKING THE REGISTRATION PAGE FOR THE ABSTRACTS:

  • this is an encrypted site – a 30-minute limit for submission
  • enter the data of the applicant (name, surname, e-mail address)
  • mark the appropriate form of presentation (obligatory) and session (you can fill in later)
  • paste / enter a list of authors with affiliation numbers
  • paste / enter the author of the presenter
  • paste / enter the list of affiliations
  • paste the text of the summary
  • check that all fields are filled correctly
  • mark consents and save data (“SAVE”) – NON-CANCELLABLE STEP
  • check the mailbox – click “Show Attendee’s profile”
  • An unique, encrypted data page will open with a summary text. This page can be printed as confirmation of the summary submission at the symposium.

WHAT’S NEXT

Members of the Scientific Committee will assess the abstact in terms of content and language. In the case of any comments, we will contact you. If your abstract is accepted the by the
Scientific Committee, you will receive an appropriate notification by e-mail.

POSSIBLE PROBLEMS AND THEIR SOLUTION

  • the page for submitting abstracts has no connection with the registration page at the Symposium and there is no direct connection between the panels of the Symposium User and the Abstract Submission
  • change of text / affiliation, etc. – “change data” at the bottom of the User’s page
  • loss of the website address and / or loss / deletion of e-mail with the User’s website address – please contact piotr.wierzbicki@gumed.edu.pl
